1 craft group this morning and the friends I have at church
2 my special friend at church whom both told me about the above craft group and the fact that she got me the cards etc we used to make new cards for youth group sometime ago thus giving me something to do at the craft group this morning
3 the 1.5 sleep Daniel had this afternoon this is a L O N G sleep Daniel these days
4 the internet being able to find out how much Daniel should be drinking in the way of formula these days - with the touch of a few keys I have the answer at my fingertips
5 The fact that 10 minutes after ringing the police tonight they were on the door step
Tonight Billy was playing in his room when he heard shouting
I looked out the windows and saw some people climbing over the next door neighbours fence
This particular house has been vacant for sometime
I also saw a car on the road behind our house which had its hazard lights on
I decided to ring the police and tell them what I had seen
I got a really nice lady at the despatch centre
within 10 minutes a policelady was on the door step asking me where exactly the car was
I took her through the house and showed her where through the window
she asked me a few questions and went to investigate

Yikes! That would be a little scary, seeing strange people entering an abandoned house. I'm glad the police responded quickly.
It's great that you guys have such a wonderful police service!
Hello from my humble little house in central vic. Australia.
Gosh I read the bit about you needing the police and my heart went into my mouth, being a grandmother one worries about her children and the wee ones all the time. glad you are all ok and the police a quickly on the scene.
Your blog is nice a great chatty spot and I will be back again, best wishes to you.
So, what happenend? Did the police catch the people?
yeah, tell us what happened!!!!!!!!
It seems that it was a car that had broken down and the man in it was sending his children along the road which is over some grass and had then climbing over peoples fences and knocking on peoples doors in order to get them help. Only the werent very old kids and they were scared. They knocked on my friends door and she said they just stood there they were scared. I dont blame them it was cold, wet and dark.
I said they were climbing peoples fences they didnt break in anywhere
Later Billy said to me what would happen if it happened to us. If our car broke down. I said i would use my cellphone which has no credit on it to ring the police - you can do that free of charge. I would explain my situation and tell them i was on my own with 2 children 1 of which is a baby and that i needed help
